I. INSTALLATION & REPAIR: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, apparatus, tools, transportation, permits, certificates, and temporary work necessary to fulfill the terms of this contract. Installation and repair work shall include, but necessarily be limited to, the following: A. Supplying the Park System with written estimates, showing the breakdown of parts and labor, prior to performing any work when costs exceed $500.00. B. Installing and Repairing various alarm systems and components as may be determined to be in the Park System's best interest. C. Supplying a detailed service report at time of visit, including time in, time out, and description of work performed. D. Submitting all bills for payment showing breakdown of parts and labor. E. Installation of new systems shall require the contractor to apply for and receive any required permits and submit copies of those permits to MCPS before any work begins. The contractor will also be required to call for and submit proof of approved final inspections before payment is made. F. The contractor shall also be required to submit three large format hard copies of plans for any new system to MCPS. II. TESTING: A. Diagnostic testing, both on-site and remotely. B. Inspection and testing of the intrusion alarm systems at all Park System locations, including all door and window contacts, motion detectors, panic alarms, etc. All inspection results on each alarm system will be documented and submitted to the Park System’s Chief Construction Inspector. C. Any deficiencies noted during annual inspections must be reported to the Park System within 24 hours. C. Annual fire alarm testing on all Park System alarms, certifying operation on NFPA form, and submitting completed report on NFPA form for each alarm to the Park System’s Chief Construction Inspector, who in turn must submit reports to the County Fire Marshall. All annual inspections must be completed during April and May, with completed reports submitted by June 15 of each year.
