The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders own an equestrian facility located in Garret Mountain Reservation that includes riding rings, indoor and outdoor viewing areas, a round pen for breaking and training, matted stalls, office and kitchen space, tack rooms, boarding facility, and access to miles of hiking trails located throughout the Reservation. Through this RFP, the Board is seeking a vendor to enter into a lease agreement with the County to operate the equestrian facility, as outlined herein. The successful respondent shall be subject to the conditions set forth herein and shall execute a lease agreement with the County prior to operation commencing. The County will play no role in operating the equestrian facility, and the legal relationship between the County and successful respondent shall be of lesser and lessee.
