The Consultant is responsible to undertake any and all activities required to prepare contract documents and all ancillary activities to effectuate the construction process. As such, the Consultant shall perform, at a minimum, the services outlined below. The Consultant shall be responsible to account for any and all work activities required and necessary for the complete performance of this assignment and shall identify any additional services that will be required for its successful completion, whether or not such activities are identified below. Traffic Control Coordinator (“TCC”) shall be required where lane and half/full ramp closings are to be installed by the contractor. A TCC will also be required for shoulder closings, and local roadway closings including flagging operations installed by the Contractor. Refer to Specifications Subparagraph 801.03(A)(6) for TCC requirements and certification, which shall apply to construction inspection tasks involving lane and half/full ramp closings. The proposed scope and technical approach of these supervision services shall be thoroughly defined by the Consultant's EOI and shall include: 1. All services provided by the Consultant shall be in strict conformance with New Jersey Turnpike Authority (“Authority” or “NJTA”) standards of quality as may be found in the NJTA Manual for Construction, and 2016 Standard Specifications. The Consultant shall be responsible for the thorough understanding of the project requirements including the applicable codes and regulations. The Consultant shall become familiar with the NJTA’s procedures and coordinating requirements necessary for effective performance of the project. 3. It will be the Consultant's responsibility to bring to the attention of the Authority in the EOI, or at the time during the submission of the proposal, any errors, omissions and non-compliance discovered in the Scope of Services Section.
