Specifications include, but are not limited to: Accept, identify, test, segregate, package, label, transport and recycle/dispose of the HHW delivered to the facility. Under no circumstances will the Household Hazardous Waste Exemption be utilized. All waste that would otherwise be a RCRA hazardous waste, but for the Household Hazardous Waste Exemption, shall be labeled, manifested, transported, stored, treated, and disposed of as a hazardous waste. The Company shall hold all necessary licenses, permits and approvals (including A-901) and shall comply with all Applicable Law while performing the Contract Services. This includes, without limitation, compliance with all applicable permit conditions, motor vehicle and traffic laws in states and localities in which the work is performed, all Federal and State Department of Transportation rules and regulations relating to the transport of HHW, and compliance with N.J.A.C. 7:26-3.1, et seq. The Company shall maintain records in accordance with Applicable Law. The Facility shall be open to the public for a total of twenty-eight (28) hours per week according to the following HHW Disposal Day schedule: Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, and Saturdays from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. The County may cancel any HHW Disposal Day upon twelve (12) hours’ notice to the Company. The County reserves the right to schedule up to eight (8) additional hours (beyond the 28 hours) per week and shall be required to notify the Company of any additional hours at least two (2) weeks in advance. In no event will the Company be required to operate the Facility for less than three (3) or more than eight (8) consecutive hours at a time. The Facility shall be closed on the following holidays: Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and the day after Thanksgiving. All hazardous wastes generated from households and CESQGs shall be accepted at the Facility with the following exceptions: Compressed gases (other than propane tanks - BBQ-sized or smaller, Freon tanks, aerosol cans and other gas tanks deemed acceptable by the Company) Infectious wastes (as defined by the New Jersey Department of Health) Radiological wastes Asbestos Alkaline batteries (A, AA, AAA, C, D) Explosives Ammunition Unknown materials that cannot be identified by the Company with reasonable due diligence
