The successful firm will investigate and provide a report to the City in connection with the following: 1. The benefits of the hiring of an Inspector General (or similar position); 2. Qualifications of the individual who will serve as the Inspector General; 3. How to implement the hiring/retention of an Inspector General; 4. Whether there are opportunities for shared services for the Inspector General with other public entities; 5. Related issues. 6. The successful proposer will be required to prepare a detailed report of its findings and recommendations relating to same. 7. A more detailed scope of services will be discussed and agreed upon with the successful proposer. 8. The successful proposerr shall provide monthly billing statements that include a brief statement showing the original amount of the Contract, any increases established by amendment to the Contract, the amount previously billed under the Contract, and the total amount of unbilled funds remaining available under the Contract, and the total amount of unbilled funds remaining available under the Contract after deduction of the most recent amount billed.
