OOD SERVICE REQUIREMENTS 1) A schedule of all items to be sold and the prices to be charged shall be submitted to the Township with this proposal and shall be subject to approval by the Township. 2) The approved selling price of all items to be sold shall be conspicuously displayed at the Snack Bar at all times. 3) The concessionaire shall have the ability to accept credit cards and process credit card transactions for purchases at the snack bar. Internet access is available on site. 4) The above-mentioned menu of items to be sold shall be the minimum number of food items sold. Concessionaire is encouraged to add daily or weekly specials. 5) Coffee and breakfast options must be offered for sale any day the pool opens to the public at 10:00 am. 6) The Township requires the inclusion of healthy menu options in the schedule of items to be sold and such items must be included in the schedule of items submitted with this proposal. 7) No beverages shall be dispensed in glass containers. 8) There is no right to sell alcoholic beverages, tobacco or gum products of any kind at any time. 9) Any sale of items other than food must be approved by the Director of Recreation & Cultural Affairs. 10) The concessionaire shall be held responsible for providing the food service considered necessary and implied but not specifically mentioned in this Information for Bidders. 11) The Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs reserves the right to allow sale of food items by the swim team for a maximum of five dates (to be determined) throughout the pool season. Proceeds from all sales will be used for fund-raising efforts of the swim team. SANITATION 1) The concessionaire must obtain the proper food license and any other licenses required from the Board of Health at the contractor's expense prior to opening of the concession area. 2) The concessionaire must have the concession area ready and prepared for Board of Health 3) inspection no later than May 18. The concessionaire shall keep clean and maintain the interior of the building and all equipment therein, whether the equipment is owned by the Township or the concessionaire, to conform with the requirements of the Health Code of the Township of South Orange Village and to the satisfaction of the Township's Health Officer. 4) The Village will dispose of all normal garbage created by the food service provided said garbage is put in heavy duty plastic bags and placed in an area designated by the Director of Recreation & Cultural Affairs for food service garbage.
