These services shall be provided by a professional engineer licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. The services required are for the design and reconstruction of infrastructure improvements within the Township and include but are not limited to street improvements, including curb, sidewalk, pavement, utilities, lighting and other street amenities, utility improvements including storm and sanitary sewers and sanitary sewage pump stations, subdivision and site plan preparation of Municipal owned or sponsored projects including presentations and testimony before local and county land use boards. Where a project or improvement requires land surveying, the services shall be provided by a professional land surveyor licensed by the New Jersey State Board. The infrastructure of the Township also includes numerous buildings. The professional engineering services for this infrastructure also includes: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and structural engineering. Mechanical engineering includes but is not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. The services shall also include the preparation of plans, specifications and bid documents including any specific requirements of government agencies providing funding for the improvement. Construction management and inspection shall be included in these services.
