1. Typically, the court sessions are as follows: Monday mornings: 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Monday afternoons: 1:30 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Monday evenings: 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. IN-PERSON Tuesday evenings: 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Wednesday mornings: 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Wednesday afternoons: 1:30 P.M.– 4:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Wednesday evenings: 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. IN-PERSON Thursday afternoons: 2:30 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. VIRTUAL Thursday evenings: 5:00 P.M. -- 8:00 P.M. IN-PERSON LAST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH – 9:00 AM SESSION – IN-PERSON The aforesaid times are approximate and may change subject to the court’s calendar. The Municipal Court Public Defender must attend the complete court session, regardless of whether the session extends beyond the hours listed above, with no additional compensation. In the event of vacation or unavailability, the Municipal Court Public Defender is permitted to utilize a substitute for a limited period, with the approval of the Chief Municipal Judge in addition to consultation with the Business Administrator. The other defenders hired by the City must first be utilized before substituting with an outside attorney.
