Adjusting of manhole castings/storm inlets - complete: Contractor shall raise and/or lower manhole castings using precast concrete grade rings. Storm sewer inlets shall be raised and/or lowered using concrete brick or block. The unit price includes the adjusting of castings in all increments up to and including six (6) inches. This unit price is for a complete finished product, including all labor, vehicles, equipment, materials, traffic control and final paving. The Owners standard manhole casting inside diameter is 36 inches. This is a lump sum for the complete work, no other unit prices will be applied to this line item of work. Bituminous concrete paving - complete: Contractor shall install bituminous concrete pavement (NJDOT Mix I-5) and compact to the thickness required by the Owner. The unit is based upon the number of tons installed and compacted in each pass. A pass is restricted to a maximum compacted thickness of four (4) inches and shall not be less than 1 ½ inches thick. Miscellaneous concrete placement - complete: Contractor shall install non-reinforced concrete to the dimensions required by the Owner. Miscellaneous concrete work will be restricted to curbs, sidewalks, driveways and aprons. Concrete shall be 4,000 PSI and finished in accordance with the adjacent work. This item is inclusive of expansion and control joints.
