The Fund is organized pursuant to Article 3 of N.J.S.A. 40A:10 to provide property/casualty/workers' compensation insurance to its member local units. The Fund also provides its members with a comprehensive risk control and claims management program. The Fund seeks a pool of experienced attorneys, licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, to defend its member entities against claims. The Fund’s liability matters are handled primarily through the Office of Camden County Counsel. Members of the defense panel to be procured pursuant to the within Request for Proposals will be assigned worker’s compensation matters on a rotating basis, although the Fund reserves the right to use other criteria to determine assignment of work. Members of the defense panel may be assigned a liability matter. As a member of the defense panel there is no guarantee of the assignment of any claims.
