SCOPE OF SERVICES Providing workers’ compensation, counsel for the City of Trenton and performing all duties related thereto. 1. General Overview The Attorney shall provide legal services to the Municipality concerning workers' compensation claims, disputes, and related matters for its employees. These services will include, but are not limited to, the following: 2. Claims Management The Attorney will assist the Municipality in managing workers’ compensation claims filed by employees under the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Act. This includes: Advising on the appropriate procedures for reporting and filing claims. Ensuring compliance with all statutory deadlines. Representation of contested claims, including hearings and appeals before the Division of Workers’ Compensation. Liaison with insurance carriers to manage the claims process.
