• The attorney/ firm must be familiarized and have experience with the New Jersey Local Public Contract Law 40A:11-1 at seq & New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C. 17:12) • Knowledge of the State of New Jersey Department of Local Government Services • Knowledge of the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs • Knowledge of the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development • Knowledge of Department of Consumer Affairs Laws • Knowledge of The State of New Jersey procurement bidding process • Knowledge of The State of New Jersey Request for Proposal process • Knowledge of The State of New Jersey Request for Competitive Contracting process • Knowledge of The State of New Jersey Contractor’s Prior Negative Experience process • Knowledge of The State of New Jersey Contractor’s challenges – process/court proceedings • Review the Department of Administration, Division of Purchasing’s Resolutions • Assist the Department of Administration, Division of Purchasing with agreements between the City of Trenton and the vendors • Knowledge of Contractor’s rights • Representing the City of Trenton, Division of Purchasing in any procurement court proceedings
