SCOPE OF SERVICES It is the intent of the Board to solicit Proposal Statements from Respondents that have expertise in the provision of Labor Counsel Services. Firms and/or persons responding to this RFP shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services. Respondent will work directly with the appropriate Committees as its primary contact and other departments of the Board as needed on the following (“basic level of services"): 1. Strategize, advise, lead and represent the Board in negotiations including Memorandums of Understanding with Unions and Bargaining Groups. 2. Meet and confer/consult on mandatory topics of bargaining and impacts. 3. Strategize, advise and lead the Board in meet and confer sessions with Unions and 4. 5. Bargaining Groups. Consult with the Superintendent, Business Administrator, Committee Chair Committee Members. Review all initial materials submitted by Unions and Bargaining Groups. and 6. Provide written documentation of all findings. 7. Provide debriefing for the Superintendent, Business Administrator, Committee Chair and 8. Committee Members on status of contract negotiations. Advise and represent the Board in fact finding sessions, mediation and/or arbitration, as necessary.
