Location and Arrangement: Drawings indicate location and arrangement of piping systems. Install piping as indicated unless deviations are approved on Coordination Drawings. Install piping at minimum uniform slope of 0.5 percent down toward drain valves. Install piping free of sags and bends. Install groups of pipes parallel to each other, spaced to permit valve servicing. Install fittings for changes in direction and branch connections. Install unions adjacent to valves and to final connections to other components with NPS 2 (DN 50) or smaller pipe connection. Install flanges adjacent to valves and to final connections to other components with NPS 2-1/2 (DN 65) or larger pipe connection.
