The Service Provider shall provide paraprofessional services during the contractual period herein based on the individualized needs of the students serviced. A paraprofessional shall be defined as a para that shall assist classified students in the social, academic, and/or behavioral domains in the general education classroom and/or small group setting. 1. Service Providers will only bill when para is present and attendance is verified and documented. 2. Paraprofessionals will communicate by phone or face-to-face with parents monthly and log all parental contacts. Log should be attached to billing. The time for communication is not billable. 3. Paraprofessionals will collaborate with school staff, therapists and other relevant professionals to support students in the general education setting. School staff and Administrators shall meet monthly with Paraprofessionals to discuss student’s progress, support and interventions. Logs should be attached to billing. 4. Supervisor’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to hiring paraprofessionals, setting up schedules with nonpublic schools, liaison with nonpublic schools and parents, training of paraprofessionals, site visits, consistent support and feedback to paraprofessionals and paraprofessional/student observations. Supervisor will observe each student monthly for a minimum of half an hour in the classroom and document. 5.
