In general, the work consists of the decommissioning and demolition of the existing pump station to 3 feet below grade; replacement of one (1) manhole and installation of two (2) manholes and yard piping; relocating of electrical utility service; installation of precast 10-foot wet well furnished with two (2) submersible pumps and guiderails, one (1) comminutor, and radar level detection sensor; installation of a valve vault furnished with discharge check valves, gate valves, and flowmeter; installation of flow-through platform for maintenance access and equipment including davit crane, odor control unit, emergency generator, and electrical equipment; installation of one (1) by-pass manhole with by-pass connection; and other modifications as shown on the drawings.
