By this Request for Proposal ("RFP"), the County of Hudson ("the County") is seeking proposals from experienced vendors (minimum of 5 years' experience by the firm or by key firm employees in the operation of preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC units and systems to an organization the size and complexity ofthe County of Hudson) to perform preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC units and systems at Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex, located at 595 Newark Street, Jersey City, New Jersey 07306. The County requires 24 hour/7-day support. Due to the nature of the County's operations, the vendor's staff shall be available during normal working hours (weekdays, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), and must be available by telephone, cell phone, or e-mail to provide twenty-four (24) hour coverage and support. The County requires that the bidder provide a minimum of ten (10) technicians who have received training for each type of equipment that the Country requires. The successful respondent shall demonstrate their previous management and technical experience in the full-time maintenance and repair of HVAC units and systems for similar sites. Said prior experience shall be to at least twenty (20) similar sites presently being serviced and maintained by the respondent, at least ten (10) of which must be Government Facilities.
