Total width of 86” with cable reel drive. 3.0 FRAME: 3.1 Fully welded frame in ¼" & ½" bright steel plate. Top plate fitted. Machine base totally enclosed by front and rear high quality 1.8 SWG paneled sections. 3.2 Front skirt incorporates removable dust collection drawer & 2 deep tool / accessory storage drawers. Using high tensile fittings, aircraft type fasteners and dome & countersink head "allen" screws. 3.3 Main front member machined & ground to provide a precision datum location for mower support systems. Side arms are ground and have bronze rear pivot-mount bushings. 4.0 MOWER SUPPORT SYSTEMS: 4.1 Multifix brackets (pair) - C.N.C. machined to +/- 0.0005" tolerance in any position. Ground steel pins and holes to 0.001" tolerance. No bend or twist to be evident at 20 lbs. torque. 4.2 Front Roller Mounting Brackets (pair) - jig welded 'V' brackets ensure positional accuracy when mounting all front roller units. Both integrated into a fully adjustable, bi-directional system with positioning scales, no tools required, for even faster set up times. 4.3 Clamping - Electro-mechanically powered, low voltage, DC locking mechanism to provide clamping pressure to the machine being ground. Operator panel mounted switch operated. 5.0 MAINSHAFT & BEARINGS: 5.1 Made from steel EN1A and surface ground to +/- 0.0005" at 2 3 /8" diameter BS steel on 2 RHP center self-aligning bearings. Bearings sealed for protection from dust.
