Equipment: Bidder/Vendor/Contractor MUST furnish only NEW Energy Star rated Hot/Cold Water Dispensers for the PBA free, 5-gallon bottles at the beginning of the contract. If the contract is awarded to the current vendor, all hot/cold dispensers must be removed and replaced with only NEW Energy Star rated ones. When the contract is in effect, the vendor will be responsible to replace any defective water dispenser unit's same day or within 24 hours after receiving a phone call from the appropriate County location representative. No charges for the replacement, service, travel, and/or other expenses will be made to or accepted by the County. The only type of drinking water dispensers will be hot and cold taps. Cup Dispensers and other items: There will be no deliveries of cups, free samples, drink mixes, small bottles of water, refrigerators, etc. The County of Essex will not be responsible for delivery of any items other than the PBA free, five (5) gallon bottles of spring drinking water and the Hot/Cold water dispensers. Spring Drinking Water only: Must be available in PBA free five (5) Gallon Bottles only, displaying the PBA free sticker on every bottle, and must comply with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and all applicable state and local requirements, laws, and codes for safety and purity. May be referred to as bottled water.
