3.2. Municipal Planner of Economic Development For The Zoning Board & Planning Board Of Adjustment The respondent must have significant experience providing zoning & planning services to New Jersey municipalities and/or other New Jersey public entities for redevelopment areas. Preference shall be given to respondents that employ at least one (1) Planner (PP, AICP). The successful respondent will provide the Borough with zoning & planning services relating to, but not necessarily limited to, planning and designing areas needing redevelopment. The successful respondent will also review private applications for development as directed by the Borough or its employees. Moreover, the successful respondent will review applications and issues when requested to do so by the Borough and assess such applications and issues relative to the terms and conditions of the applicable Borough ordinances, Land Development Ordinances, Master Plan documents, State Plan, and other pertinent State and County planning criteria. The successful respondent will provide professional services in connection with matters related to the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, COAH regulations, State Plan, and related planning statutes and documents. The successful respondent will be available to prepare special planning studies, prepare and review documents, and offer testimony relating to court actions, litigation, and appeals of development applications or municipal planning documents at the Borough's request. Upon the Borough directive, the successful respondent will attend municipal, zoning, and planning board of adjustment meetings.
