1. Bidder/Vendor must be knowledgeable in providing various wrecker services for light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty vehicles. 2. All vehicles and equipment are to be towed to the Monmouth County Division of Fleet Services, 250 Center Street, Heavy Duty Equipment Garage in Freehold Township, NJ 07728 unless other arrangements are made through County Supervisor personnel. In such cases, the name of the County Personnel requesting the change should be clearly identified on the invoice. 3. Environmental fees, Hazmat surcharges, shop fees, miscellaneous supplies fees, fuel surcharges, storage fees, return fees or restocking fees are not permitted. 4. When applicable, axels or drive shafts must be removed to prevent damage to County vehicles. For any tow requiring this additional service, Vendor shall bill the County to the nearest half hour for work performed. 5. Item #9, Waiting Time shall include but not be limited to the following: waiting necessary to complete law enforcement investigations, waiting for key delivery to the tow site, or waiting for the offload of materials prior to tow (i.e. dump truck, cargo van). 6. All calls, including emergencies, must be responded to (arrival on scene) within 60-minutes, unless mutually agreed upon otherwise with County management. 7. Bid pricing will be evaluated based on the tow rate, plus an additional 15 miles to the authorized location. While this will be used to evaluate bids, the final award amount will be based on the Department’s budgetary amount. 8. Awarded Vendor and its personnel must possess all necessary licenses and permits required to operate towing machinery in New Jersey, and comply with all NJSP guidelines.
