The work to be performed under this contract shall be to furnish and deliver, upon request by the Monmouth County Divisions of Engineering and Traffic Safety, Bridges, and the Department of Facilities Management: Regular and Winter Concrete; Regular and Winter Pumpable Grout; and Pumpable and Non-Pumpable Flowable Fill in variable quantities to various project locations in Monmouth County. The mixing of materials to produce all the product items listed in the Request for Bid shall be performed by means of Mobile Mixers. Specifications 1. Concrete shall be produced, mixed, and delivered in accordance with SECTION 903 – CONCRETE of the 2007 New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the attached specification. 2. Flowable fills shall be produced, mixed and delivered in accordance with SUBSECTION 903.09 – CONTROLLED LOW STRENGTH MATERIAL (CLSM) of the 2007 NJDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. 3. Pumpable Coarse and Fine Grout mix designs shall be developed by the supplier to meet the specified design strengths of 5,000 psi and 3,000 psi; respectively, using the specified aggregate gradation sizes noted herein. 4. Mixing of all materials shall be Mixing on the Project in accordance with SUBSECTION 903.03.04.A – MOBILE MIXERS of the 2007 NJDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
