It is the intent of the Joint Meeting to solicit Qualification Statements from Respondents that have expertise in the provision of Engineering Services. Firms and/or persons responding to this RFQ shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services: A. Provide general on-call engineering services as requested by the Joint Meeting, including but not be limited to: i. Site, land use and environmental planning; ii. Facility, infrastructure and project design, construction, and operation; 7 iii. Building systems evaluations, including but not limited to: a. conducting on site investigations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and control systems and making recommendations for any necessary modifications; b. assessing building systems for functionality, energy efficiency, environmental compliance, comfort and air quality; c. performing safety and code audits; iv. Mechanical design services including but not limited to: a. Preparation of plans, specifications, conceptual design, cost estimates and project manuals for various types of building mechanical systems; b. Assistance in all aspects of the bidding process. v. Development of as-built plans, treatability and process evaluation, and feasibility and comparative cost review; vi. Review and evaluate permit requirements; vii. Prepare and submit applications, correspondence, and the like to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and any other applicable regulatory agency, as required. B. Attend regular, special and emergency meetings of the Joint Meeting, if required; C. Attend all other meetings and bid related conferences that the Joint Meeting deems necessary; D. Preparation and/or review of reports, permits, applications and bid documents as requested by the Joint Meeting or one of its authorized representatives; and E. Review of all correspondence referred by the Joint Meeting or one of its authorized representatives and prepare correspondence on behalf of the Joint Meeting, if requested. F. Interact with applicable Joint Meeting personnel and other governmental agencies, as required. G. Provide a range of other specialized engineering services which may be needed by a public client such as the Joint Meeting.
