The proposed work for the project shall include, but not be limited to, installation of site lighting, earth berms, landscaping, reconstruction and restoration of existing sidewalks, curbs, and all as shown on the plans and specified in the Bid Documents, entitled “Cape May County Veterans Cemetery – Phase II, Cape May Court House, New Jersey.” Other related and miscellaneous items of work shall be included, as shown on the plans or specified herein, and as directed by the Engineer. Base Bid limits of work shall include: • All work outlined in the project bid documents and as listed on Page 1 of the Scope of Work. • Base bid landscaping Add Alternate Bid “1” limits of work shall include: • All work outlines in the project bid documents listed as alternate #1, described on sheet L-201 and as detailed in the construction documents. • Prayer garden, cast stone saluting soldiers and associated landscaping Add Alternate Bid “2” limits of work shall include: • All work outlines in the project bid documents listed as alternate #2, described on sheet L-602 and as detailed in the construction documents. • Pole barn berm and buffer landscaping Add Alternate Bid “3” limits of work shall include: • Furnish and install bronze saluting soldier statues in lieu of cast stone as specified in Technical Specification 047300, described on sheet L-202 and as detailed in the construction documents (replace base bid item #A5). Add Alternate Bid “4” limits of work shall include: • Furnish and install larger shade trees in lieu of base bid shade trees as specified in Technical Specification 329300, described on sheet L-600 and L-601 and as detailed in the construction documents (replace base bid item #24). Add Alternate Bid “5” limits of work shall include: • Furnish and install larger evergreen trees in lieu of base bid evergreen trees as specified in Technical Specification 329300, described on sheet L-600 and L-601 and as detailed in the construction documents (replace base bid item #25).
