Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Warren wishes to find an external Employee Assistance Program for the County of Warren. Please respond to the attached specifications, in describing your scope of service: Currently the county employee count is estimated to be 550 employees. 1. Describe how the EAP provider will interface with the county designated EAP Program Coordinator. 2. Describe your proposed EAP assessment interview process. 3. Provide a summary of the brief short-term counseling services to be conducted by the EAP. 4. Describe the EAP’s referral process and procedures and its provider network, specifically: a. Please define initial intake versus referral for a continuing similar issue b. Identify and define each type of EAP referral (e.g. Mandatory, Formal, Informal) c. Please indicate what is considered a new event versus a continuing event d. Specify the number of visits per incident annually e. Specify the number of visits per employee annually 5. Describe the EAP’s process and procedures involving DOT/CDL employees subject to the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Identify and distinguish between Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and EAP services and their involvement in the Clearinghouse process. 6. Describe the 24-hour telephone access to the EAP. 7. Describe how the EAP will consult with county supervisory staff concerning potential or actual employee referrals to the EAP. 8. Describe how the EAP will provide orientation meetings for employees and supervisors for the purpose of acquainting them with the EAP and encouraging them to utilize EAP services. 9. Describe how and what the EAP will provide to the county regarding informational materials (brochures, posters, etc) concerning EAP services for distribution to county employees. 10. Describe the provision of seminars and wellness programs for employees on topics such as substance use disorders, mental health, wellness, legal, weight management, stress reduction and other services.
