Services may include, but are not limited to: Acting as the Village Engineer and advising Village Administration on all municipal engineering and public works matters, including inspections, capital improvement recommendations, and compliance with statutory requirements. Providing on-call engineering support during emergencies, natural disasters, and significant weather events. Attending committee and council meetings, including Public Works, Public Safety, Transportation (WBRSO), and Zoning Board meetings. Engineering design, bid specification preparation, construction oversight, and support for Village public works projects. Serving as the Stormwater Management Coordinator and preparing/facilitating permits and funding applications (NJDEP, NJDOT, county, state, and federal). Reviewing and maintaining engineering records, Village maps, as-built drawings, and GIS data. Performing surveying services. Weekly status reporting and participation in regular check-in meetings with the Village Administrator. Representing the Village before the Zoning Board and other administrative agencies. Oversight of parks and recreation facility design, landscaping, and streetscape projects. Traffic improvements including pedestrian and vehicular circulation and signal upgrades.
