These services shall include short-term assessment and counseling, referral, crisis intervention and critical incident debriefing, education and training for employees and supervisors, as well as consultation for human resources personnel. Shall provide support and counseling to individuals as substance abuse, work related problems, marital difficulties, financial stress, parent child conflicts, and a myriad of other life issues and concerns, meet with appropriate corporate personnel, often Human Resources, to design an Employee Assistance Program, (EAP) that best suits the needs of its employees. ● Expose employees to short-term, problem-focused intervention to resolve personal or family concerns that impair job performance. ● Rigorously assess the employee’s needs for intensive treatment and recommend the least restrictive, most cost effective and clinically appropriate community setting. ● Enhance wellness by offering a wide range of prevention/education programs. ● Reinforce the employer’s Human Resources program by providing efficient referral management services. ● Help the employee assess his or her mental health benefits when necessary. ● Follow-up to ensure employee’s satisfaction with referral resource. ● Provide crisis assessment and intervention for employees and family members.
