The applicant shall be experienced in the practice of economic development and strategic planning in the municipal sector. The Borough is seeking a written report to be completed within the contract period with three (3) separate elements: 1. Comprehensive directory of all existing businesses within the borough, to include the business name and/or DBA, listed owners, address, telephone number, email and website address, along with business category, ie. restaurant, auto repair shop, etc. 2. Inventory of all existing vacant and/or undeveloped commercial property within the borough, to include the physical address, block and lot# from the most current Borough tax map, and the name and address of the property owner. 3. Strategic plan to address the potential uses for the properties listed in item#2. The strategic plan should provide clear directives for the Borough in the area of recruitment, retention and expansion of our business sector for expanding jobs and our tax base.
