The work for CONTRACT NO. 85, SNAKE ROAD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work consists of the construction of four stormwater inlets, installation of approximately 172 linear feet of stormwater pipe, final restoration via the HMA milling and resurfacing of approximately 726 square yards of roadway, HMA driveway reconstruction, application of traffic markings, installation of traffic signage, and the associated turf repairs in the Township of Galloway. The work is located within the Township of Galloway on Snake Road between Somerstown Lane and Somers Landing Road. The work shall be completed within one hundred and twenty (120) days of the Notice to Proceed or be subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per day. The Contract timeline consists of thirty (30) days to complete all drainage work, a mandatory sixty (60) day settlement period/winter shutdown, and then thirty (30) days to complete all paving and final restoration work.
