Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this bid is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to provide data communication cabling services for the Passaic County Technical Vocational Schools on an “as needed" and on call time and material basis. The contractor shall be able to provide installation, repair and test reports of data communication cabling for network systems that include but are not limited to the following: • Access control systems • Building automation systems • P.A. Systems • Security and enunciator systems • Sound & communication system • Video surveillance systems • VOIP Telephone ; This work shall include, but not be limited to, the performance of maintenance and repair, to be performed by the specified personnel per bid pricing. This also shall include wiring, raceways, patch panels, faceplates, network jacks/ends, fiber connectors and all accessories. Modify, relocate and extend existing service to accommodate new work. Remove existing systems and wiring which are abandoned. • Coordinate with the Technology Department to provide adequate systems for all contract areas. • Coordinate schedule of data outlet completion with the Technology Department and other trades as applicable.
