Acceptance of any material shall be based on inspection by the member agency representative either prior to or after delivery of said materials, or both prior to and after delivery of material. CRUSHED STONE: Crushed stone shall conform to the NJDOT 2019 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition, Sections 901.03, 901.03.01 and 901.03.02, including latest supplements. PIPE BEDDING SAND: Sand for use as pipe bedding shall be clean, granular and homogenous material composed mainly of mineral matter, free of mud, silt, clay lumps or clods, vegetation or debris.
