The City of Passaic is seeking Proposals from qualified law firms licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey that wish to provide several types of legal services including legal work for the Community Development Department. The successful firm must have significant experience in HUD and State Grants. The scope of legal services needed includes but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Attorney for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Programs: Preparation and revision of agreements as needed, filing and discharge of mortgages/mortgage notes/deed restrictions. 2. Attorney for Regional Contribution Agreements: Preparation and revision of agreements, filing of mortgage/mortgage notes/deed restrictions. 3. Other legal services as required in connection with the CDBG and HOME Programs of the City of Passaic.
