Specifications include, but are not limited to: The specifications below pertain to Trendway AeraMAX Air Purifiers. If bidding an “or equivalent” item of another brand, a prepared comparative statement must be provided with the bid package, illustrating that the product(s) being bid are equivalent or of better quality than the Trendway products specified. These “equivalent” products must also meet all requirements below. The following specifications are based on rooms with an 8’ ceiling height. All Air Purifiers must utilize a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter to capture at least 99% of airborne particles of 0.3 microns in diameter (as the most penetrating particle size). The proposed air purifiers must also have a filter gasket that prevents air bypass and an indicating light signaling when a filter needs to be changed. The air purifiers shall produce no ozone. All Air Purifiers must be able to operate for 24 hours a day, if need be.
