• Enhancing Client Self-Sufficiency and Relapse Prevention: Capacity-building efforts aimed at strengthening providers’ ability to deliver effective relapse prevention and support services that help clients achieve and maintain long-term stability and independence. Family support services shall also be included. • Strengthening Intervention and Diversion Capabilities: Support for expanding and improving provider capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to clients in acute need, reducing reliance on higher-level, costly, or emergency mental health services. • Building Capacity for Long-term Recovery Support: Efforts to enhance providers’ resources and infrastructure to deliver sustained, ongoing support that promotes clients’ health, safety, and independence throughout their recovery journey. • Improving Service Quality, Accessibility, and Coordination: Initiatives focused on advancing the organizational capacity of SUD providers to increase service quality, improve access, ensure accountability, and foster better collaboration across the behavioral health system. • Collaboration with System Partners: Providers and their system partners work together to identify and combat barriers that may impede the target population from seeking and accessing services. Collaborate with system partners to ensure coordination, equity, and inclusion of care.
