Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through the 2022 Opiate Abatement Fund, Somerset County Department of Human Services is seeking this Request for Proposals (RFP) from a Community Peer Recovery Center (CPRC) to purchase community-based recovery support services for county residents. Somerset County appropriates to meet the comprehensive whole health service needs of Somerset County residents and promote long-term recovery from substance use/cooccurring disorders. b) Provide residents linkage to continued recovery support services identified by DMHAS/SAMSHA as the following: employment assistance; peer to peer services; rental/housing assistance or sober living housing; transportation; child care assistance; education/training assistance; family counseling and education; medical/dental services; and groups such as relapse prevention, coping/life skills, parenting skills, AA/NA, sponsorship and faith-based groups. c) Community-based support services will be offered to residents of all ages with a substance use/cooccurring disorder in need of this service. d) Provide systems recovery support linkage and coordination with multiple entities. This coordination will meet the needs of residents in the community involved in but not limited to: inpatient treatment (withdrawal management, psychiatric); residential (short-term/long-term rehabilitation, halfway house); the county jail/prison system, law enforcement, mental health/substance use providers, psychiatric emergency screening center, school districts, local community college/university, board of social services/social security administration, veteran services, primary care providers, domestic violence/homeless shelters, soup kitchens, county hospital, non-profit service providers, faith-based organizations; peer support organizations, etc.
