It is the intent of the County to solicit Qualification Statements from Respondents that have expertise in the provision of certified court reporting services for the Hudson County Law Department, Board of County Commissioners, Hudson County Planning Board, Hudson County Construction Board of Appeals, the Prosecutor's Office, and other Departments as required. Firms and/or persons responding to this RFQ shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services. A. The provision of certified court reporting services for the Hudson County Law Department, Board of County Commissioners, Hudson County Planning Board, Hudson County Construction Board of Appeals, the Prosecutor's Office, and other Departments as required shall encompass the following: 1. The personnel used must be certified in court reporting pursuant to N.J.S.A. 45:15B-3, licensed in the State of New Jersey, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience. 2. The transcription must be reported in real time. 3. The personnel must be certified in audio transcription. 4. The certified court reporter must be available for regular and special meetings on a short-notice basis. 5. Each transcript should include a summary indicating page and line numbers and a word index at the end of the same. 6. The certified court reporter must be available for depositions conducted in the Law Department.
