Specifications include, but are not limited to: THe County will fund various alcoholism/drug abuse treatment and educational services in conjunction with their state mandate. The services are for the benefit of medically indigent Atlantic County residents drawn from various segments of the general population. The services the County is willing to fund may already exist to some degree, but for the large part, the County encourages bidders to develop innovative programs to meet the goals of each service. Descriptions of individual service elements are presented in Part IV. Bidders may submit proposals for one or all of the service elements. Separate applications, however, must be completed for each service the bidder intends to provide. PART II - PROGRAM OBJECTIVES The program objectives are (1) to continue funding the various elements of the County Alcohol Plan and (2) to coordinate the provision of alcoholism/drug abuse rehabilitation and education services countywide PART III - PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS The services provided must be of a professional nature. 1. The providers must be covered and present proof of malpractice insurance coverage. 2. The providers must meet all licensure standards. 3. The providers must employ certified or licensed drug/alcohol counselors and utilize them for 4. this program's service provision. The provider must use this award to service the medically indigent. 5. The provider must conform to the County's financial and programmatic 6. accountability standards
