Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All Personnel that would be stationed in the Elizabeth Public Schools must complete a criminal background check, per NJ State Law and follow Elizabeth School District/State guidelines 2. At least 7 FTE Bilingual (Spanish/English) early literacy coaches, embedded in the schools to support K-5th grade, ESL/bilingual education teachers. Bilingual coaches must: - Be bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English - Be experienced with instructional best practices in a bilingual setting with at least four years of bilingual teaching experience and two years of coaching or leadership experience - Hold a degree in Elementary Education. Dual-Language Education, or Second-Language Acquisition/Literacy degree preferred - Appropriate state level teacher certification
