Behavioral assessments/evaluations – authorized by Supervisor/Director VB-MAPP assessment for autistic students District monthly parent/guardian/caregiver group for families of autistic students Autistic program maintenance should include teacher and paraprofessional training, behavior management, trial instruction, verbal behavior programming, direct instruction, structure and routine development, data collection, and progress monitoring Behavioral plan development Classroom behavior management and development Attendance at IEP meetings Liaison to assist transition from short term placements to classroom New teacher training and follow-up consultation on classroom management strategies Transition students from one program to another Parent trainings Home consultation as needed Develop and facilitate in-district social skills program during school hours Provide parent/family training to ensure generalization of skills at home Follow-up consultation/support as requested by the Office of Special Services Responsible for all reports, typing, translations, and submission of same to the Office of Special Services Available to provide services and reports at short notice Appear and testify in mediation and/or due process hearings whenever needed
