Project shall consist of a new exterior pad mounted transformer, Main OCP device (breaker) Automatic Transfer Switch, Parallel Generators to support the buildings load, New Distribution switchboard located in the lower level of the Municipal building. Existing substation and distribution board located in the lower level of the Municipal building shall remain in service until the new transformer, switchboard and generators are energized, and all existing feeders from the existing distribution and have been transferred over to the new distribution switchboard. Existing substation and primary feeder shall be removed from the facility. Existing generator, belly tank, and enclosure located behind the Municipal building shall be relocated to an area near the Department of Public Works Building, and emergency feeders shall be installed to the existing transfer switch in that building. Existing Natural Gas generator and its associated feeders shall be removed from the facility. Existing functions within the Municipal facility shall remain active throughout the construction period as these are essential services for the Township.
