Provide a survey performed by a New Jersey licensed, professional land surveyor for the site of the proposed trail, including all property boundaries, existing roads/accesses/trails and environmentally regulated areas and their associated boundaries / buffers within 300 feet of the proposed trail extents. The proposed trail shall be designed in accordance with the Feasibility Study and in relation to the area shown on the provided Greenway Trail: Phase 1 map. Deviations from the mapped trail shall be noted and reviewed by the Township. Design shall be governed by greenway guideline manuals and professional engineering opinion and analysis. Identify and specify environmental constraints for the project, including necessary environmental regulatory permit(s). Facilities shall be designed to satisfy the constraints and complete the project. Alternatives, if available, should be proposed and reviewed by the Township for consideration. Provide an outline of regulatory environmental permit(s) required with agency fee(s) for each as applicable. Application to regulatory authority(s) and attendance of meeting(s) is required. Required documentation to supplement permit application(s) shall be provided. Identify land ownership concern(s), if any, and potential land acquisition or easements required for any portion of the trail based on the existing and proposed conditions. Easements including but not limited to conservation / recreation, access and ingress / egress, if required, will require legal descriptions and survey for deed filing if approved by the Township. Identify and design required infrastructure for water crossings, including design and costs with alternatives if applicable. Water crossings shall be designed with review and approval from the Township. Three locations are shown on the Greenway Trail: Phase 1 map but others shall be included if required and identified during design. Perform technical design of the proposed greenway alignment, detailed design ofgreenway elements (finish surfaces, water crossings, culverts, walls, etc.), and design of furnishings, finishes and amenities. Greenway trail signs, markers, wayfinding signs, signs required through regulatory agencies and similar shall be included and reviewed by the Township. All submittals shall be reviewed by the Township. Design and produce contract documents (plans & specifications and construction cost estimate) for public bidding. Construction details, typical cross sections, and plan sheets shall be provided. Soil erosion and sediment control elements shall be included as required.
