Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall be responsible for the furnishing, delivering, installation and removal of all outdoor exterior lighting. The landscape lighting must be completed by the schedule outlined in advance by the Parks Designee. Exterior lighting must be maintained in good working order throughout the installation. It is the responsibility of the vendor to repair and replace bulbs, ballasts, and wiring as required throughout the duration of the installation and without additional cost. Calls for service must be responded to by an on-site service technician within 24 hours of the first call for service . The County of Essex reserves the right to require replacement of units if they are frequently malfunctioning. The Exterior Lighting must include the following: • Projected light designs and uplighting on the exterior of three (3) zoo buildings. • Extension cords from lighting units to the power source are the responsibility of the vendor. All extension cords must be 12-3 outdoor cords between 25ft and 100ft in length. • Colored uplighting in the following locations within Turtle Back Zoo. o Six (6) bamboo garden beds along the main path o Twelve (12) Trees and two (2) garden beds along the sunflower path o Dramatic lighting of twelve (12) trees along the Africa Path. o Dramatic lighting within the train loop, station and tunnel . o Wash lighting for five (5) photo areas measuring 10ft x 10ft each. • Please see ATTACHMENT 2 for a map of the Turtle Back Zoo and proposed locations for light displays. This map is not the final map and may be altered upon selection of a vendor. There will be multiple installation time periods: Winter Lighting Installation: November 4 – November 9, 2022 Additional installation time periods will be provided to the vendor by the Parks Department designee.
