The activity pool is a 75' x 40' rectangle with a beach entry, interior 'vortex', training lane and splashing features. The total surface area is approximately 3,352 square feet with a perimeter of approximately 265 linear feet with a calculated volume of approximately 41,500 gallons. The pool is capped with bullnosed coping over standard waterline tile with the water line about 4-1/2" below the deck. The water from the activity pool is pulled into the filter system via a regiment of 5 skimmers and 2-18"x18" main drains. There are two other pairs of 4" schedule 80 PVC piping drains for the 'vortex' and features. A 3.5' diameter x 6' long horizontal, carbon steel filter tank has a filtration surface area of 21 square feet.
