Specifications include, but are not limited to: County of Essex is requesting for the purchase and installation of an Access Door Release System at the Juvenile Detention Center, that includes two purposes: 1. Door Release as soon as a fire is detected, including software, equipment, programming, installing, providing power supply including software, equipment, programming, installing, providing power supply, and 2. Access Control to enter an exit a room, including software, equipment, programming, installing, providing power supply, card reader, cards. The contractor shall provide the following for the two parts of this contract: DOOR RELEASE SYSTEM: Addressable Relays above each door to release the access control doors in the lower school area (15 Units) Provide power to the door locks. Connect to the fire alarm relays. Install raceway, wiring, boxes and all necessary equipment for the installation of the fire alarm devices. Program the installed fire alarm devices into the existing 4100ES fire panel. Test the installed fire alarm devices. Perform an 10% Test of the non-effected fire alarm devices Provide re-acceptance testing documentation upon completion. Provide DCA Fire alarm submittals, fire alarm stamped drawings and permits. ACCESS CONTROL: (2) Kantech Software-EntraPass Corporate Edition V8 USB key, or approved equal. Includes one server workstation and 2 ad (4) Kantech KITS (Or approved equal): Expansion kit includes KT-400 controller (1), KT-MUL-MT readers (4), TR1675 transfor Install (30) Card readers for In/Out function at each door (14) Additional Kantech (or approved equal) readers Drill trough walls to enable connections between interior and exterior of each (15) doors. Mount conduit on interior and exterior of each of (15) doors for wire runs. Install (15) Status Door contacts (3) Transformer Cover (2) Power Supply (4) Back Up Batteries (50) Access Key Fobs (1) Wiring and conduit Provide programming, training and testing of all equipment, on basic user functions, including Add/Delete credentials & remote doors functions to be used by Control room personnel.
