1. Avaya Phone System(s), Physical Security System, and Data Network Support Consultant. The Avaya Phone System(s), Physical security systems, and data network Support Consultant shall be appointed by the Township Council by a majority vote of a quorum of its members and shall serve for a term of one (1) year from the first day of January of the year of their appointment. The Network and IT Security Consultant shall receive such compensation as the Council may agree upon and determine. 2. Core Roles and Responsibilities. The Avaya Phone System(s), Physical Security systems, and data network Support Consultant Services shall include but not be limited to general technical maintenance, installation of systems and new data and voice lines, and support of current phone, camera, and network systems provision shall provision the following services for all Township offices in support of the Township IT Department Director: A. Voice systems support Avaya Phone System(s), Support Consultant, is responsible for every aspect of our voice network, ensuring minimum vulnerabilities by adopting and integrating the latest technology to integrate with other systems. An Avaya Phone System(s), Support Consultant often includes supporting: • Auto-attendant (with day/night options) • Caller ID • Call-forwarding • Conferencing • Hunt groups • Pickup groups • DND • Call transfer • Remote voicemail access • Managing call flows • Troubleshooting • Cabling • Voicemail management • Programming/Provisioning
