Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority to issue a Notice of Award (Contract) for the service, repair, and preventative maintenance including parts for all existing Security Gates at various locations along the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway (“Roadways”) as well as any new gates installed along the Roadways. The locations are listed in Appendix A. The various types of gates consist of either access controlled slide, manual slide or manual swing gates. For service and repair work, the vendor shall provide a written proposal to the Authority as to the work which needs to be performed, including the material costs, labor costs, labor hours and the site location(s). Once the work has been approved, the Authority will contact the vendor authorizing them to commence the work.
