The PHASE I project consists of replacing the front entrance door assembly as Indicated and installing a new aluminum & glass door assembly in the same space, replicating the existing entry door design to the extent possible. Provide an Automatic Door Opening device in conformance with ADA requirements. The push to open pad shall be installed in the vertical mullion adjacent to the door. Rework the existing interior aluminum and glass doors (2) to comply with ADA requirements for maneuvering clearances at door latch location. Provide aluminum handrails (2) at the main entrance to the Municipal Building as indicated on the drawings. Provide modification to existing Senior Center main entrance handrails to comply with NJDCA building code. Remove existing door from Municipal Building to Senior Center, maintain the existing wood trim around the door. Patch and repair the evidence of existing hardware that was installed on the trim. THE PHASE II Drop dais desk to the meeting room floor. Provide new meeting room flooring. Change panic devise on 2 meeting room doors, change some Municipal Building door hardware to ADA compliant hardware,. Modify the 2 transaction windows to comply with ADA standards. Rework men's and women's toilets in Municipal Building and Senior Center to ADA standards. Modify side exit corridors at exit doors for a 5' x 5' area for ADA Compliance. Provide ADA Hearing Assistance devices in meeting room.
