1. General Planning Services: The selected firm or individual shall provide affordable housing professional planning consulting services to the Township with regard to its Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. The scope of work may require attendance at Township Council, Planning Board, Zoning Board meetings, and/or court proceedings, on an as-needed basis. 2. Additional Services: The Department of Community Development may request advice or work on its behalf, including: (a) review and comment on development applications that impact affordable housing; and (b) assistance in the preservation and/or expansion of the Township’s inventory of credit worthy affordable units, including, but not limited to: research of existing rent controlled properties and/or deed restricted units and participate in the negotiation of Extensions of Expiring and/or new Controls. The scope of work may require attendance at Township Council, Planning Board, Zoning Board meetings, and/or court proceedings, on an as-needed basis.
