1. The Assignor will ensure that a qualified /vetted/eligible official or Team of Officials is assigned to every scheduled home game. 2. The Assignor will notify the Recreation Director or designee via email at least 24 hours prior to a game, in the event that he or she cannot schedule a Referee/Umpire for that game. If a game is unassigned, due to a decline or turn back and the Assignor cannot find a qualified replacement, he or she will notify the Recreation Director or designee via email at least 24 hours prior to the game. Failure to do so will result in a fine imposed on the Assignor equal to the Referee for that age group. 3. The Assignor shall only accept changes made at the direction of the Recreation Director or Program Supervisor. 4. The Assignor is expected to be reachable by telephone from 8:30 A.M. through 9:00 P.M. and to have access to information needed to contact any referees assigned to work games that day. 5. The Recreation Department has up to two hours prior to a game to cancel, due to Inclement Weather or another issue, which might prohibit play. In either case, the Assignor will be notified by Recreation Director. 6. The Assignor is responsible for all payment’s due to the referees/umpires.
