The outfall pipe includes approximately 1,200 linear feet of 24-inch polyethylene pipe, 4,300 linear feet of steel concrete coated 36-inch pipe and two diffuser legs (north and south), each 660 linear feet. The diffuser legs consist of 210 linear feet of 30-inch steel pipe, a 30-inch x 24-inch reducer, and 450 linear feet of 24-inch steel diffuser pipe. There are approximately 120 anchors on the 24-inch polyethylene pipe, 107 anchors on the 36-inch steel pipe and 35 anchors located on each diffuser leg. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and personnel required to perform one (1) underwater ocean outfall inspection and cleaning and corrosion control measurements. The Contractor is required to provide the Authority with an anticipated start date and updates on the completion of the above.
